Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute, but difficult to assemble This seems to be a cute workhorse, but the directions were backwards. Once assembled, it could not be unassembled to be fixed correctly without breaking parts. It would be nice if the parts would come off without breaking-you never know when you may need to take it apart. It would be nice if the directions showed how to put the pieces in on the correct side. On many pieces the sides are identical, but if you put them on the wrong side,in particular the legs, they will not work correctly. I do not know if I would recommend this, since it has not been played with. If I did, it would be with reservations about the directions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of Fun This was bought for our 18 month old son for Chistmas and he throughly enjoys playing with his workhorse..it is one of his favorite toys from Santa. For parents the assemble can be a bit of challenge. Just make sure you review the instructions carefully. There are no written instructions and there is no detailed parts list. Note to Little Tikes: Please, include a additional play nail or screw as my son thinks he is missing a piece and keeps searching around for a non-existent piece. Overall, we are very pleased with the toy and its quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Caution folds too easily I wish this would be able to not fold up too easily. My little one loves his workbench but one day he leaned on it and the bench and him flew to the ground. He was startled so my husband added a " brace" to keep it open so our son could enjoy it. He now enjoys his bench since it stays open now. I wish Little Tikes would make some kind of brace that is easy for little ones to do but also for adults to do when little one is too young to understand that it folds up. I would not recommend this for a child that leans heavily on things even if it is once in awhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun toy for toddlers and early learners It took my son longer than I anticipated to assemble this toy, but he isn't really adept with tools. It certainly looked straightforward in the instructions. My two year old grandson loved it. He caught on very quickly to how the tools worked, but it still challenged him to manipulate them and kept his attention. I was concerned that the hammering would be very noisy, but it was not any louder than any other toys being banged or crashed against each other (I get to hear lots of "car crashes"). Also, it seemed that hammering was the least interesting of the activities, he was much more interested in using the wrench and screwdriver.
