Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for snow, not for wet - Boot has issues We have had these for 2 months & have tried them out in various snow, slush, puddles, cold, etc. My daughter wears them walking to/ from school, recess, and snow play time ( 3 - 4 days a week in the winter). They are very cute and stylish( she loves to wear them) but some what bulky for kids. Very 'clompy' and boot comes up to about 3 inches below the knee. Bungee lace/ tightner - My daughter broke one of the tabs off the first time she did it her self - So now it is knotted to keep it from sliding loose. The bungee elastic stretches, is weak so not really able to cinch down - also it ends up tightening down at the foot but loose at the top of the calf. my 5 yr old has a hard time with the plastic crimper so she leaves it "tight" and just pulls boot on/ off The upper is really thick/ bulky, tall so it seems to get somewhat crushed & scrunched down - especially when wearing snow pants as the boot tops are too fluffy to go inside the pants & have to be pulled over snow pants. Biggest problem - the upper fabric does okay in regular / fluffy snow but after 2 hours of play time, wet snow, or a single slushy puddle it is soaked! The upper fabric absorbs water and then gets really heavy/ cold. It also takes eons# 2-3 days# to dry out all the upper fabric & inside sole even if over a heater. Boot is hard to open up to air dry because of the permanent bungee lacing system. No removable liner. I have resorted to drying the inside with paper towels first - then air dry over a heater to speed up the process. Drying out the boots is a constant issue when in frequent use However if just short trips/ play in the fluffy snow it seems to keep her feet warm & dry. Good in shallow slush - black rubber foot area is nice and dry. Next time I will choose a regular laceup boot & removable liner, also a slimmer profile and less tall upper. I would not buy these again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My daughter only wore these four times and already the cable in the front snapped. I had to tie them together and now pray they last through the winter. very disappointing because they are warm and she loves them.
