Rated 3 out of 5 by from Common problem with leaking. I bought this product because my husband loves the Camelbak brand and warranty. He uses the bigger size, but I needed this size to fit in the side pocket of my backpack for school. I love the color, size, look, and everything else about it - EXCEPT it leaks. It leaks even when it is upright and closed. Water seeps up the straw, out the nipple, and down the sides, creating a pool of water beneath it. I'm not the only one who has had this problem; two other students I've spoken with have had the same issue. One of them said that the bigger size doesn't leak, but this size does. Both sizes have the same lid, straw, and nipple, so I have no idea why it's happening, but it stands true for my husband and I, too. I'd use the warranty to replace it, but it sounds like I'll just have the same problem repeat itself. Guess I'll have to get the bigger size if I don't want it to leak.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for what I use it for I work county road construction, so having easy access to cool water is important. The air gap in this water bottle slows down the heating up the water enough that I don't have to worry about drinking warm water. This gives me abut 2 hours between refills, assuming I don't empty it first. My only complaint is that the straw keeps falling out of the cap, so I have fish out of the bottle with my fingers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awesome Water Bottle for a while I received this water bottle as a gift 6 months ago and it was awesome for a while, I would use it a few times a week and school, nothing intensive, but then the mouthpiece hinge started to loosen, and now 6 months later it doesn't stay closed at all. As it has a warranty I will be receiving a replacement part soon but it was very disappointing

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't spend the extra money on this bottle I loved my original CamelBak Eddy water bottle, so when I needed to replace it and saw this insulated one, I bought it, thinking it would be perfect for hiking. I picked up one for my teen-aged son as well. As far as we can tell, it provides zero insulation benefit. I've loaded the thing 3/4 full of ice, added a little water, and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes before leaving the house and it still doesn't keep water any colder than my regular Eddy did. Because the outer layer of the bottle is larger than the regular Eddy, it doesn't fit into a car cup holder as well as my old one did. Also, the inner part that holds the water is smaller, so it doesn't hold as much as the regular Eddy does. I'll keep this one on hand for if I need a back-up, but I'm going back to the regular CamelBak Eddy. The insulated one isn't worth the extra money.
