Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great until the blender jar cracked! I've had this blender/processor (the previous model FP2620SC) for almost 5 years. Yesterday I left it in the sink to soak before I hand wash it, and all of a sudden I hear a loud pop - the jar cracked! How can I get a replacement? I really like this processor and don't want to buy a new one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We got this as a Christmas gift. The first couple of times we used it we were happy with the performance. We have only used the blender about a dozen times...if that. Didn't try the food processor. Last Sunday we had a dinner party and I was making soup that required blending as it was a creamed soup. I no sooner put it in the blender and when I turned it on, the PLASTIC gears obliterated themselves. Needless to say it is trash. Never will I buy another nor will I recommend this product to anyone. For the price, it should last more than a few uses!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Damaged part replacement A friend of mine bought it for me more than a year ago, unfortunately I only use the blending jar for only five occasion and this is the defect on the motor as shown, could you please send me a replacement quotation of the damaged part as without it renders the entire appliance useless. I will be grateful if you could send the damaged part quotation to my email address below. I admire it very much and I wouldn't like to abandon it for good. Your quick response to my request will be much appreciated. Thank you. Joyce

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thumbs down for B&D appliances. With the understanding that mechanical things do break and sometimes have defects I am still displeased with my experience with B&D. I got the feeling that once the unit was purchased they could not care how long it would work for. They didn't state any period that it was expected to last for and offered no help in understanding how long I could expect another unit to last if I was so foolish as to purchase this brand again. My unit had the center drive break off and I see (from this site) others have suffered a similar fate. They claim that there is no issue that they know of, refuse to provide parts so the customer can repair it and also state that there is no facility that will repair their appliances.
