Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought a lemon I was very satisfied with my first Breadman, but I couldn't buy a replacement pan when the gasket leaked oil or grease after 91 loaves of bread. Used rapid cycle for 90 loaves with great results. This Breadman had several issues: Used rapid cycle for 1st loaf. Checked mixing results too late. I found about a half cup of flour in the bottom right side from front to back. I mixed it in somewhat, but loaf still had several tablespoons of flour in the same location after baking. Decided no more rapid cycle. Second loaf turned out fine, no issues. Third loaf: Machine made beeping sound while mixing ingredients. Checked for messages/warnings. Couldn't see anything wrong. Ignored. When it beeped for done, I went to remove the loaf. I took it out with oven mitts only to find it cool to the touch, fully risen, but white and springy. I tried to reset the machine and turn it on for baking. It was all locked up. Unplugging it several times didn't help reset. I turned my oven on and put the pan in there to bake. After several minutes, the Breadman started the mixing cycle without a pan in it. I took the pan from the oven and put it back into the Breadman for 30 minutes on bake. Added another 10 minutes on bake. The loaf turned out fine, but I didn't keep the machine around to see what would happen next.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh for Gluten Free Bread When it arrived I was very excited to try it out for Gluten Free bread for my oldest child that has Celiac's Disease. I have baked 8 loafs in it and 6 out of the 8 have fallen. The collapsible paddle was a huge selling point as well and sometimes it will collapse, most of the time it won't. The paddle is also a pain to clean since it is a hinge, baked bread gets stuck in there (suggest a bottle scrubber to get it all out). Overall style is nice and it matches our other appliances, but it will be making a return trip back to the store as it is not serving its purpose. I am not sure how it will preform with regular bread, we didn't try. It is really strait forward and easy to use, so there are some perks. The 2 stars was the falling bread and the paddle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes great bread & muffins. Quiet and efficient. At higher altitude, add less liquid!
