Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement for a 29 Year-Old Rower My first rower was a used Amerec 610 bought in the late '80's. It served me well but after many repairs, I realized it was time to replace it. I wanted a basic, inexpensive rower and so far I'm very happy with this one (InMotion). It was pretty easy to assemble and is light enough to move around and store when needed. I did have an issue with the seat rollers squeaking, but that was resolved with a few sprays of silicone lubricant. (Disclaimer: I do not work for Stamina and I purchased the InMotion with my own money.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Happy With My Purchase I bought my rower about a month ago and use it 3 times each week for 15 minutes at a time. I was worried about it only having 5 resistance settings but after a TON of research and back and forth I still went with the Stamina. I am no longer worried about only having 5 settings...I climb rocks yet I'm currently using the lowest setting and it's sufficient. It's a basic machine and I'm not sure why you'd need much more...unless you are an actual rower. Sometimes less is better and I think this product is one of the better examples of that. Bonus, the price is right.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost There I purchased this rower a few months ago and for the price, it's a pretty good rower. I put it together myself and it was fairly easy. Good tension control which is challenging and that's a plus. Now the cons: this rower squeaks like nobody's business. I've oiled, oiled and oiled but to no avail. No matter where I applied the oil, squeak. I start to row: squeak. It's like having a mouse sitting on my lap as I row. It would be great to use this in the wee hour of the morn but I don't for fear of disturbing neighbors. Hence, three starts instead of 4 or 5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I am so disappointed in this rower. The big plus is the small footprint. Otherwise, it squeaks and groans and constantly needs oiling. The tension adjustment is clumsy and difficult to use. The pneumatic tube was faulty and needed to be replaced. The replacement is not much better. The seat is very uncomfortable and has an unstable feel to it (though I don't think it is unstable- just feels that way). I was not looking for a top of the line piece of equipment, but this is highly disappointing. If the construction was better quality, it would be ideal.
