Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to unscrew Without a handle, it's difficult to get the cup/blended section from the base. With arthritis, it's doubly difficult. What's more the silver portion at the top of the device came off, and I can't get it back on. So it's sitting there. Further, after several uses, there was a distinct odor emanating from the unit after the second or third use. I sent the warranty in, but when I read it, there was a second portion of the warranty requiring me to return a written acknowledgement of having filled out the warranty card...I didn't realize it was a TWO-PART WARRANTY; I thought I was covered after completing the warranty online. WRONG!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Going back to 600 watt I loved my NutriBullet 600 and used it for many, many years. When I tried to use it like a food processor on some whole dried dates - it seized up the motor and I was very sad. I tried the 900 because the only thing the 600 did not do well was chia seeds and I thought the 900 might. The reasons I am so disappointed with the 900 are - it smells like its burning up, its super louder, and even though I screw on the cap tightly - it keeps unscrewing itself and the mess is crazy. I need this product for my health and its stressing me out big time that I am reluctant to use it now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost all I need. Do people really read these reviews? I purchased this to make shakes and blend ice for my healthy eating plan. It does a pretty good job. I like lots of ice to make very thick drinks. Sometimes it is so thick that when it blends it loosens the blade and starts to leak. That's annoying. And I find it difficult to push down and turn so it interesects with the rotor in the bottom. It does a great job in less than 30 seconds, if I'm aware of making the blade extra tight and cautious with my "push down turn action!"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short lifespan I bought my nutribullet almost a year ago, and it seems to have lasted longer than many I am reading about. But like these reviews, mine too started leaking. So I started using the bigger cup, thinking I was simply overfilling the small one. I thought the problem was solved, but now the blades are almost impossible to engage. When I am able to get it going, the unit doesn't want to turn off. I have to unplug it. I will attempt to contact customer service, but I do not have time to play tag with them. I simply will not buy another one. Nor will I recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed.
