Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute Console Table Art We have a small half-circle shaped console table with a large metallic framed mirror hanging over it in our entryway, and I wanted something tall to put on the table to fill some of the vertical space that the mirror creates. I had looked at vases and fake plants and other statuary but I just wasn't seeing what I wanted. We're a musical family, so these immediately caught my eye and I kept coming back to them. I took a chance and ordered them because I had a good discount, but I was worried that because they're made of resin they'd look cheap and cheesy. They're actually really cute and fun. Even my husband immediately liked them, and both my mother and mother-in-law (who has done interior design) have commented on how good they look and how cheeky they are (we all love an element of humor). They're lightweight with a fairly heavy base so they're not tippy and the instruments are shiny silver, which goes perfectly with the mirror they stand in front of. We love the kind of bendy, fluid look of them--if you just glance at them as you walk through the space, it looks as if you've caught them in action. I would love to find smaller versions, maybe even an entire orchestra, of these to put in other places in our home. They're subtle enough to warrant a double-take and interesting enough that we won't immediately grow tired of looking at them. I highly recommend them if you're looking for something clever, fresh and a bit different from the usual vase or flower arrangement decorations.
