Rated 3 out of 5 by from Base machine is good The basic structure of the machine is good. We are both working our way into developing a program to work with the row & bike. Assembly & set up went well and the instructions were clear. Major issue: we have not yet resolved the problem of the display/computer not working. A replacement was sent but the problem seems to be deeper in the machine. Pulse works but nothing else does. Minor issue: the seat is uncomfortable & it seems like the gap is too great between the seat & back. Using a small Thermorest pad does help for the Bike portion but not so well for row. Other: both the peddles for the bike & the foot rests for row seem to be lower quality than the rest of the mechanicals of the machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy setup! Have had it for 1 month now and my wife and I really enjoy the easy conversion from rowing to biking. Great workout. We use it to alternate our running days with another form of aerobic work. In addition, great space saver!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from works good overall Both the recumbent cycle and the rower functions work well. The rower is a bit due to the rigid seat-back which prohibits full use/workout of the torso area. The unit was easy to assemble. The electronic display works fine except for the "pulse" read-out, which seems to be intermittent. This problem might be unit-specific. Overall: good for a rainy-day workout.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoy it, but it's not for short people! I have had this machine for about 4 months now and am glad that I purchased it. I couldn't decide between a recumbent bike and a rower, so this was the perfect compromise. As others have said, it's not a perfect (or typical) rower. But it suits my needs since I don't go out rowing in an actual boat EVER. I just wanted to be able to get a full-body workout, and it serves that purpose nicely. I use the bike more than the rower, and I started on the lowest setting. I was incredibly out of shape and will tell you that the lowest setting BURNED my thighs (which was good). I still haven't made it past level 4, and I only do that for a short portion of my workout. One caveat: I can't imagine anyone under 5'3" being able to use the bike portion of this machine. I am 5'5", although I have a long torso and short-ish legs (my legs are probably more typical of someone 5'3"-5'4"), and at the closest seat setting, my feet JUST reach the bike pedals. (The rower foot holders are closer to the seat so you could maybe still use that portion.) My husband and I put it together in exactly 1 hour. It was quite easy, but I would suggest two people if possible.
