Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective? I'm returning this item. I don't like how you can't really get into the tank to clean it. That aside, I was going to keep it anyway. It has siphoned water all over my cabinet twice now. It's also leaking from the bottom somewhere (it's black colored fluid). It also never got hot enough for my taste. Maybe it's defective? Either way, I'm not at all happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from falls apart after 2 years. it still works great but have it ducked together. the heat just broke the plastic apart. must have a problem with heat on the plastic. above the basket was first then around the button for the burner. it just went to pieces.. now the burner has crackes in it.... but it is still working. this is my 2nd bunn. I liked the old style better. but it fell apart also... I wish they had a three year warrantee because it seems 2 years is all they will last...I own a restaurant and we use bunns commercial pots and they don't have this problem...the only reason I buy for home is quickness. I would try a different brand if they were as quick...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 1 month My Cuisinart died after 7 years so decided to by a Bunn as I don't like to wait for my coffee. Do not use store ground coffee in it, as it is too fine and you'll end up with grounds and coffee all over your counter and floor. Unless you pour from the carafe extremely slowly, you end up with coffee on the counter top. After one month, I was pouring a 2nd cup of coffee and the light went out. The maker literally died. Took it back and bought the original Cuisinart that served me so well for 7 years. Love it. Fast. No coffee on the counter when pouring. Better than the Bunn.

The coffee pot has the worst smell of plastic & chemicals--3 weeks it has been here and it stinks in our entire house & garage. The coffee is not HOT---it is barely warm. I do not like this coffee pot. I have had so many Bunn coffee pots--never any problems--WOW!! The quality has gone down hill 100%. I am returning it as soon as I can get to Kohl's. I did call Bunn-they were not helpful at all! They told me I could mail it back to them and they would send a new one---but---it will be the same way. This is why I am done with Bunn coffee pots.
