Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the rack and oversize forks I cooked a 9 pound turkey breast in an oven bag with the bird resting on the rack. When done, I pierced a hole in the bottom of the bag and all the juices(which kept the turkey moist while cooking) then flowed to the base of the pan while the turkey was removed to the platter for carving. The drippings made for excellent gravy. It was easy to place and remove the pan with the wide and higher handles. I removed other oven racks to make it easier to handle the pan while checking on it and removing it from the oven. Look forward to using the pan many more times. Hand-washed the pan but the rack and forks went into the upper rack of the dishwasher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from chefpj This Calphalon Tri Ply Roaster fits right into my busy kitchen along with all my other Calphalon pans. I'm partial to the Tri Ply line. I love the even heating that allows even cooking without hot spots or burning. Things brown quickly to perfection but still allows easy, quick clean-up. It's a great size for anything from a large turkey to chicken with vegetables (which makes a wonderfully flavorful gravy), roasted vegetables, beef, pork or lamb and even a company sized lasagna. This is the pan I reach for when I'm doing a company meal. Even with all the use, it still looks great. You can't go wrong with great tools and this is another one I'm pleased to add to my culanary arsenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pan This and the 17 inch stainless steel roasting pans are the best roasting pans I've ever owned. Industrial strength (multi-ply) ensures even roasting and no warping. I roast at very high temperatures for 10 minutes then reduce heat for the rest of the roasting time. Hint: Don't use the rack, instead use a couple of carrots and stalks of celery to keep meat off the bottom of the pan...makes a huge difference in flavor and very easy cleanup. Love these pans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roasting Pan I love this pan for several reasons. I like it becuase it allows all the fat to drip off your food and because you can use it later to make gravy. I use the pan to roast chicken and to make pulled pork. I like placing my pork on the roasting rack so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.
