Rated 4 out of 5 by from Calphalon Stainless 12 in. Stir Fry Pan My order arrived quicky and was well packaged. I have 2 other Calphalon pans that are nonstick which I have used quite a lot, so I was comfortable with purchasing it online sight unseen. My only disappointment when I received this pan was that the craftsmanship is not as good with some scratches and surface imperfections left in the pan. Since it works very well with heat distribution, and food doesn't seem to stick, I can easily live with the minor flaws. The glass lid is great to keep an eye on the food as it cooks. It's definitely a good value for the price and I look forward to many stir fry meals made in it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for stir fry I have used this wok 3 times now. Each time I coated the interior with olive oil to prevent sticking, used a medium heat, and every single time the food stuck to the interior and then began browning the surface and even smoking a little. The only thing that seems to be helpful at all is adding water/liquid to dislodge the food as soon as it starts sticking. So if you're cooking things in it that have a lot of sauce, such as curries, you wouldn't have a problem. But if you want to do a classic East Asian stir fry, a fried rice, or any stir-fried noodle dishes (as the name of the product and the description indicate you should be able to do), your ingredients will stick and it will be very difficult to clean out your wok if in fact you can even get it clean at all. This is a wok for sauces, NOT for stir fry. I am incredibly disappointed because I have loved my stainless steal soup pot, but upon reflection I have the same issue when I saute garlic or onions to start a soup. If you want to stir fry, stainless steal is not the surface. It will stick.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Long Lasting This was a great pan for the first few times I used it. I loved it and use it for pretty much every thing I need to cook. I've followed all the guidelines and I always handwash as I don't have a dishwasher. Unfortunately the pan has now started to get burn marks on the bottom and it now has a copper looking ring around the inside of the pan. It no longer really gets clean, as it always has this residue and it's unfortunate that a calphalon product would reduce to this so quickly. I have had the pan for a little over a month. It's also strange that the pan got these marks when I closely watched the food and it never burnt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrated I really want to love this pan, as I am a fan of Calphalon and I love to stir fry. Everytime I try to use this pan to stir fry, the inside bottom turns brown, gets burn marks. I have tried numerous types of high heat oils, all the same results. I even keep the vegetables moving around the pan so they don't burn, still it turns brown and starts to smell like it's burning. I have never had a pan do this before.
