Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Pan! I have had this pan for a few months now and love it. While this SS pan is not nonstick, the satin finish requires very little fat. It heats up quickly and evenly. I can only think the person who complained about the horrible clean-up cooked food at too high of a temperature. Like another reviewer, I deglaze the pan with a little hot water while still warm. Even when it needs a little scrubbing, I use Barkeeper's Friend, and it cleans up beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, solid pan I have been using my 10" omelette pan several times a week for 8 years now, and I have no complaints. Heats evenly, doesn't scorch my food, cleans very well with Bon Ami. It is easy to prevent food from sticking on this pan, unlike thinner pans I have, by getting it hot and adding a cold fat. This is a substantial line of cookware and definitely my favorite.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scrambled eggs stuck I've used this pan once and was somewhat disappointed. After following the heating instructions, and waiting for the butter to melt, I added scrambled eggs and cooked them over medium heat on a gas stove. The eggs stuck to the bottom of the pan, but cleaned up fairly easily after soaking for five minutes. Not non-stick with proper preheating as advertised. I've been cooking for 30+ years and know how to use stainless steel pans so this was a disappointment. I was going to buy several sets for my children, but not now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tri ply Stainless - amazing! but not for beginners I researched Calphalon tri-ply stainless on many websites for months before buying and also asked friends who owned them. The consensus is, they are the best for people who know how to use them. If you are used to cooking on mostly non-stick cookware over an electric coil burner, don't buy these. They are an amazing tool over a medium gas flame and they heat up very quickly, so take that into account. Sauteing, sauces, steaming etc. is so easy on tri-ply. This 10 inch omelette pan can be used for many things, and I find I use it now more than the 12 inch since our kids are out of the house and I'm mainly cooking for two. People who say it's impossible to clean are likely not adhering to the advice that you really never need to take this pan up past medium heat. It conducts so well and quickly! A good cleaning tip is to deglaze with hot water while the pan is still warm. Use a wooden utensil and you'll be amazed at how easily everything releases. Barkeepers Friend is really the only cleaning product I would recommend, and only when needed. I always wash by hand.
