Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent fit and quality After wearing Hanes briefs for over 50 years, I was very disappointed by the quality of my latest purchase. Out of 18 pair, only a few fit properly. Some had leg holes that were too big with minimal elastic, some had a fly that stayed open, and others had the seam in the rear of the waistband overlap so there was a lump. I've even tried exchanging packages and have found the same circumstances. I thought after upgrading from the cheaper Hanes briefs to the classics, I would find much better quality control. I will continue to try to find a style and size that satisfies my requirements.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheap construction I think it is finally time for me to move on to a different brand of briefs. I realize that corporations must answer to share holders and share holders expect great results every quarter. I also realize that one way you improve your profitability is to lower the quality of the products you produce. These briefs are not up to the standards I have come to expect from Hanes for so many years. The elastic legs and waist are nothing to be proud of and you the thinness of the fabric is unacceptable. I hope the shareholders are happy with next quarter's results but I hope they are smart enough to wear a different brief.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leg holes need better support At first, we bought the Hanes less expensive pack and the quality was very poor (material thin, leg holes large, and size ran very big). Because we like cotton and the Hanes brand, we tried again. Must admit that we're still a little bit disappointed. The material on these was much improved (soft and better quality). The size was a bit better but the leg holes were still very loose with no form. Have to say that Hanes usually does a very good job with the fit, but they have really missed the mark with the new design of the basic tighty whitey. Please improve fit in leg holes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY GOOD, but not perfect After 40 plus years of wearing woven boxer shorts, I switched into briefs as per my doctor's suggestion. Hanes is the first brand I tried and I find them quite comfortable. Over the years, other men told that they don't like Hanes briefs because of the leg openings were too small and they have big wide thighs like me. I find these Hanes briefs to have slightly larger leg openings than what I expected and I have small peek-a-boo moments time to time. Also the fly gaps when I bend which I don't like, there could be more material in the lower part of the fly. The waistband is perfect. Great value for these briefs. As for my Hanes boxer shorts, they always wore out in the rear bottom, but were very comfortable.
