Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, well-made I bought this pull-up bar a few weeks ago, and I'm really happy with it. It was pretty easy to assemble, and it feels very sturdy. I don't have gaps between the molding and my doors, so I didn't use the safety bracket (no easy way to install it), but as long as you're careful with usage, that's not a major concern. I've also left mine mounted as a reminder to USE IT (it says not to keep it mounted full-time), and it's very stable. I don't know how useful this is for the various other exercises they show on the packaging (most of which can be easily done on the floor without equipment), but for pull-ups using various different hand positions, it's really great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy, very good value. I bought this pull-up bar about a month and a half ago. Regardless of which at-home pull-up bar you purchase, you will realize it's a worthwhile investment. That said, I have a little experience with competing products, and I do think this is the best bar available. It feels incredibly sturdy, is very comfortable on the hands, and has all the grips you could ask for. Also, it takes up minimal space in your closet, making it ideal for an apartment. The price compares with that of somewhat simpler products. Get one of these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good but not? Works only in one door frame in the house, it will and has damaged slash ruined door frame. So when i move out dont know what it will cost. Not wide enough for a wide grip pullup. Cool to do pullups in the house though but thats it all the other exercises they say it helps with are useless. Oh and im short 5'9 if i was any taller you may not be able to do a full arm extension pullup. Soooooo 3 stars more like 2.... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and well made, does what it says Been trying to improve my chin-up and pull-up strength. This has really helped. No complaints about the construction - it's very sturdy, powder coated, good hardware. The foam wrap around the handles has held up very well, and has kept my hand form blistering. I'm not sure I need the u shaped loops - that extra feature gets in my way when I'm working on pull-ups, but those loops add functionality for sit ups and push ups, and I could always take them off. Taller people might find that doorway pull-ups are awkward. Sometimes is easier to go to my gym and work out on a dedicated chin-up bar, but it's nice to have the option of doing this at home and on weekends. My teenage boys love it and it another work out activity I can do with them.
