Rated 3 out of 5 by from Filter Basket This model is well built and the travel mug does keep your coffee hit for long periods of time. When I first got the unit the rubber sleeve on the mug did not fit the mug. Now after about 2 years of use the basket filter is now fraying in three different areas. I have on occasion (about 4 times now) had the coffee (water) back up in the filter and it made a heck of a mess - there is no warning that that would occur, you come back to find liquid and grinds all over the place. Other than the issue with the mug sleeve and the filter I find this product works pretty well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will be on my 4th one. Doesn't work after a few weeks I love this machine when it works. I provide whatever coffee I want to make, no expensive cups or anything to worry about. Each unit I had lasted anywhere from 1-3 weeks. Kitchenaid is very good about replacing it each time, but after 2 replacements it's getting pretty frustrating. The pump seems to be the issue, from what I can tell. You turn the machine on, and it just steams. Nothing comes out. Please find out what the problem is and fix it so that I can buy this machine with the confidence that I won't have to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I've three Keurig coffee brewers, all of which had issues with the water filter and stopped working. Even though the K-cups are convenient, they have gotten so expensive that I didn't want to get another Keurig. I take coffee with me in the car every day on the way to work and loved this as soon as I saw it. I bought the red and it adds a classy touch to my kitchen. Brews right into the thermal mug, so I grab and go. I love being able to use my own coffee and that I have the choice of using a paper filter or the permanent filter that was provided. The only negative so far is that the water lines are bit hard to see because of the tinted plastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Easy to Use as It Is Lovely to Look At My last KitchenAid Coffee maker lasted for 15 years so I definitely wanted to stick with the KitchenAid brand. And this personal coffee maker is filling the big shoes of the coffee maker that went before it. Shallow as it is to admit it, I'm very interested in a coffeemaker that looks good sitting on the counter -- and this one truly does. And I'm also very interested in a simple-to-use machine -- which this one is. It's worked flawlessly for 6 months of 3-times-daily use. I love it so much that I bought another one to have as a backup in case KitchenAid discontinues this model (please dont).
