Could be a bit larger and substantial
I bought this charm as a gift for my cousin as a memento of her first granddaughter. It is quite a bit smaller and light weight than I expected for the retail price. The worst part was that the jump ring on it was so small, I could not feed it onto her chain. Now I have to take it to a jeweler and spend additional $$ to have a larger ring put on so that she can wear it. I'm not very happy about that, but I want her to have it, so I am doing it.
I only said "yes" to recommending it because it is a sweet idea. But frankly should be better made.

Birthstone color is questionable
I ordered the baby girl for August charm but the color is not as light as shown on the website. Birthstone looks darker more like for a May birthday. As these charms are not sold in store I can’t compare the stones to be sure I received the correct color for August.

perfect for Moms and Grandmas
I was happy to find these Birthstone people online since I have a necklace of 6 of them for my grandchildren, and needed a 7th one for the recent addition of our granddaughter, but couldn't locate these "people" in a store. They are colorful and eye catching. I originally purchased these for a necklace of my children, and then purchased separate dangles for another necklace when grandchildren arrived, so I have been a consistent buyer for many years. They always receive positive comments whenever I wear them. I have my Birthstone Babies separated by tiny "balls" so that they won't overlap each other. I would recommend these for any mother or grandmother who enjoys showing off her cherished family!
