Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flawed from the factory I ordered this bowl with several other Fiesta pieces to add to my collection. The color is beautiful but it had an obvious flaw on the edge. It never should have left the production floor - it wasn't even good enough to be considered a 'second.' I love Fiesta but their quality control is minimal at best. The other pieces I received were also flawed - and I had to make a trip to the Kohl's store to return all of them. Read several reviews - this isn't an isolated case - if you order Fiesta I think you better plan on ordering multiples of what you need with hopes at least one is acceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hostess Bowl History The Fiesta Hostess Bowl with its sleek Art Deco design was originally intended to be used upside down to display a large pillar candle, or to use as the base (as a compote) for the Presentation Bowl. The Hostess Bowl can also be used upside down to support a Chop Plate or a Baking Tray to fashion a cake stand for a party. It would be wise to secure the pieces together with floral clay or hot glue if you intend to move the stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cute! This is a sweet little bowl! Fiestaware has outdone themselves with this cute little item! It is called a serving bowl however it's not very large at all. It's good for a side dish of vegetables or a large bowl of dip, not much else. It's still very cute and collectible as Fiestaware goes. The Turquoise color gives it a vintage look and the design fits in perfectly with my Shabby Chic decor. Beautiful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am 64 and have always wanted Fiesta Ware. I love my Fiesta Ware, Ivory, serving bowls. They are kinda old fashion looking to me. We bought 12 sets of dinnerware. I used the Ivory for everyday use. The others colors, aqua and paprika, we have in our cabinets with glass doors, that way I can show them off! Since Ivory goes with anything that's why I am odering extra pieces in ivory.
