Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work pants Overall not a large selection for women's mechanic uniforms. Was hoping to find something cuter. These pants are super stiff and not the least bit comfy. The back belt loop area actually sticks out on my back and is just like "HEY LOOK WHAT UNDERWEAR I HAVE ON" so even though they fit, I still have to wear a belt (even less comfy!) I mean come on, these are the clothes that I have to wear for 10+ hours a day and get into the craziest of positions in. I buy clothes for comfort first. Yet I am forced to keep them because I have no other options and I need a uniform.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I still wear them... I bought a pair of the women's work pants a few months ago. I'm not sure exactly what type of work is expected in low rise pants. I'm a brewer and am constantly squatting, bending, and kneeling. The women's work pants leave no room to move, and sit right on my hips. The pockets are maybe 2" deep. There are no tools I use that can fit in there...I can't even fit my phone in any of the pockets, front or back. If you want to look like you do work, and look cute, these are for you. But for me; it's function over fashion. The quality is decent, however they wear out in the thighs (for me at least, size 14) and I think the polyester blend, heat, and water don't mix well. I'll stick to the men's pants. Those are higher waited, and more durable. Again, it's function over fashion. These might work for you, they just don't work for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't Work for Me I'm a loyal Dickies fan, but have always purchased the men's style work pants. I decided to try ordering the women's style and they don't fit me at all. I purchased an 18 Petite, which is my normal pants size, and at 5'4", the length was perfect. I'm definitely more of an apple-shape figure. My biggest problem is the rise, as it's way too short. They hit well below my waist, which I somewhat expected, but the fit seemed more low-rise than midrise and there was no way I could bend over in these pants. I guess it's back to the men's pants - at least they come up high enough that I can bend over safely.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Women's Dickies 774 pants I bought these to wear to my new manufacturing job. It's a metal shop so I can get pretty greasy and grimey. I like the material but the fit is another story. These are too big around the waist but fit through the hips and thighs. I am 5' 6" and ordered the regular length and they are too long as they drag on the floor. I am going to have them hemmed and try wearing a belt cuz for the price - it's a deal :)
