Sturdy and Look Great
I picked up two yesterday and put one together last night. Very easy assembly - I would suggest rubbing the threads of the wood screws with soap as they can be difficult to screw in and the heads will strip easily. The soap lubricates the screw to make it easier to screw into the hard wood. Once assembled, the stool looks great and appears to be very sturdy. The only concern i have is that it appears the footrest piece may twist and turn - I may put some glue on the second stool before assembly to see if that helps. Also, I did notice that the actual height is 26" not 24" if that matters to anyone.

I can not say enough about these stools. I bought 3 online, another one in store and 2 more online today. Colors are pretty true to pictures online. Excellent quality, easy to put together, after you read the directions, for the first time. (Make sure you place legs 5 and 6 opposite, per the directions). Takes 10 minutes to assemble. Loosely tighten each side and then work your way around to further tighten. Put screw mounts in and then tighten all the way. I suggest not using electric screw driver unless you can adjust torque. You can strip the screws or go to far and crack wood.

Our second stool- nearly perfect
We bought the same stool 1+ year ago in the same shade and were very happy with it so we decided to get a second one. Problem is that the shade is different.
Clearly the newer one has a thicker pad until we break it in but it is almost like a completely different seat. Leather appearance and shade are different.
And this one wobbles- legs just aren’t quite the same length.
Nearly perfect- make sure you buy the quantity you need together with the same batch!

poor quality control
Purchased 2 of these counter stools, upon doing assembly of first stoolI discovered the poor quality of screws that hold small cross bars near bottom of stool. all 4 screws snapped because of them beeing a very poor quality of metal. they probably would have screwed pieces together had there been a pilot hole in each leg (but there was not one). Had to disassemble & remove broken screws on 1st stool and buy more & better screws & pre drill pilot holes for new screws them reassemble 1st stool. Second stool went together good with new screws and after drilling pilot hole in legs
