Rated 2 out of 5 by from Non-Existent Quality Control Being a positive person, I will first say all three sets of dishes came unbroken. As I unloaded them from the boxes, my heart sank with each piece I pulled out that had obvious design/glaze color problems. Before I ordered this Pfaltzgraff design, I naively chose to discount another reviewer’s lament about flaws in the pattern. I assumed she was just being overly critical or just received a bad batch. Now I know exactly what she was describing and should have listened. The company must be aware of the problem because the box has a disclaimer stating: “Due to the nature of reactive glaze, each piece of this handcrafted collection will exhibit unique variations in color and pattern.” That statement pretty much gives license to any poor quality workmanship. And these dishes are, as someone else described, something you would buy as seconds. There is extreme bleeding of blue color around the edges of many pieces (There isn't supposed to be any blue in the design.) Each piece should have a dark brown rim around the edge, but a number of them are missing parts of the color of the rim. I’m not a fussy person, but this is unacceptable quality. If the procedure for glazing doesn’t consistently work, you don’t keep making them and hope that people won’t notice. If you look at the photos of the dishes on the box, NONE of them has the color bleeding that showed up on a large number of pieces throughout three different boxes. Obviously, they aren’t meant to be that way. Kohl’s should discontinue selling this inferior dish set, and Pfaltzgraff should be embarrassed to peddle something with this kind of sloppy design defect. There seems to be no quality assurance department, or they just don’t care. If these were marketed as seconds and priced accordingly, I would be more understanding. I spent a lot of time looking for just the right set of dishes, and now I’ll have to live with these because they cost too much to send them back. Check out the photos above to see if you would want to purchase them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my second set of this Pattern I just love this pattern. It is great for everyday and just my style for entertaining. I had purchased a service for 8 a little over a year ago and was so happy with it I ordered the 2nd set of service for 8. Since I have a very large Thanksgiving party every year I needed the extra settings. This service for 8 was very well packaged for delivery and every piece came in perfectly. Thanks so much for your outstanding products!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is very low quality I have been looking for new dishes for a couple years and at first was delighted to see this pattern. NOT anymore! The quality in the painting of these dishes is absolutely awful!! I cannot believe Pfaltzgraff would put this product on the market!! I have ordered 5 sets and trying to get a total of 12 place settings to keep......the lines in the dishes are not always complete...they look like a dotted line instead of a solid black line....the leaves are not always whole either. Many places you can see the black paint has run and they just look terrible. I am truly disappointed.
