What The Pros Know:

  • For the most flavorful cup of tea, use water that is slightly below boiling. Brewing time for tea depends on the size of the tea leaf—smaller green tea leaves will generally infuse faster than larger black tea leaves, taking less time to brew.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tea kettle Not too big, but gets the job done. For your tea in the morning, or at the end of the day

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally just got this tea pot... Just used it for the first time and noticed that it's already starting to rust around the metal trim of the spout. I will be returning this as soon as possible. Quality is clearly not good. Do not waist your money. The color (red) is more like a burnt orange too. It looks like they ran out of paint and just stretched it out, so it doesn't look red but a faded version of red.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk I purchased this tea kettle 6 weeks ago. I was replacing a 15 year old Calphalon anodized kettle, which, for some reason, is no longer made, because it was getting pitted inside from hard water. I should have held onto that kettle! This kettle started to rust on the stainless steel trim from the second week. No matter how carefully I tried to open the spout cover, boiling water always splattered out onto my hand. Two days ago, the pin ,holding the spring which moves the spout cover, fell out. I have NO IDEA who makes a decent tea kettle! Before purchasing this one, I spent hours looking at negative reviews of countless tea kettles: some that were twice the price of this one. I gave up and bought this one because they all sounded bad, and at least this one wasn't super expensive. I expected it to last a LITTLE longer than it did !!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell apart within a handfull of uses The flip-top whistle mechanism just fell apart. Junk. I barely used it. Can't find warranty support online and this is past the return period. Only had it for 4 months and used it less than 20 times. Waste of money.
