Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Gorgeous...More Beautiful Than Picture I received this ring as a birthday gift from a friend, and I was thrilled with it. The color of the sapphire is much more beautiful in person than in the photo. The photo makes it look like a piece of blue glass. This is a lab-created sapphire. Some of the reviewers misunderstood what a lab-created stone is. It is not the same as a synthetic stone. A synthetic stone is made from a chemical reaction(s) from two or more substances. A lab-created stone is not synthetic. It is a gem that is grown like crystals...atom by atom. It has the exact same properties as a genuine stone...only it can be made more beautiful since it is created in a lab. Even the Queen of England owns some lab-created stones in her jewelry. This is a wonderful value for an absolutely beautiful ring!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I usually don't have negative things to say about the quality of jewlery Kohls offers but this ring was a disappointment. The "stones" that were on the side of the sapphire were not set properly and missing in areas. It was returned right after Christmas. A positive was that the sapphire was truly beautiful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The ring is very pretty I bought the ring thinking it was a genuine sapphire. Because I was getting it for my grand daughter, I wanted the real thing so I returned the ring, not knowing how difficult it would be to find a ring with both genuine sapphires and diamonds at a price I could afford. I actually like the looks of the ring and did not find the diamonds cloudy at all on the one I bought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK ring The ring is sized correctly. The stone is a little darker than I would have liked. The small diamond chips must be cloudy or something because there is no more sparkle to them than just the sterling silver itself has. I will keep it and wear it but it will never rank as one of my favorite pieces of jewelry.
