Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy customer Worked great the first year, then the entire thing started to fall apart. Hoover stood by the warranty and we had parts replaced. Then we paid for replacement parts on the second fix. Now things are breaking all of the time - like a cartoon machine. It's less than three years old and we paid over $200 for it. I'd like to think Hoover is one of the brands that are made to last, but it's like everything else that is manufacturer in the era - it's cheaply made and poorly servided. I'll buy the cheapest model in the store for here on out because I recongnize that price-points don't indicate longevity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This sweeper was purchased to use in a hotel at the front desk. It has been used daily since November of 2013. It still has amazing suction.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design for hose I purchased this vac 6/11/11 for use at a summer cottage and was looking specifically for a good vac with attachments. The first time I used the attachments the hose fell apart - the hose came out of the connecting collar on the hose itself. EVERYTIME I use it, it comes apart! The hose is impossible to screw back into the collar. We are taking it to a repair shop to see what they can do w/ it. Other than THAT (!) it worked great, easy to empty, cleans well. But, if you can't use the attachments, due to the poor hose design, it's not worth the $ I paid for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish it had manual carpet height adjustment This vacuum is light and quiet and has tremendous suction. We have 3 different carpet pile heights in our home; two of which it works splendidly on, the third, which is just a slightly higher pile, causes the red light to come on and the brush to stop. I wish there were a manual height adjustment to eliminate this from happening. Also, the crevice tool (which is integral to all the other on-board tools) broke the second time we used it and is out of stock currently on the website. Whether or not to recommend to others would depend on what type of carpet they have. Would definitely suggest trying it first if possible. I bought online, so didn't have the chance to do so.
