Rated 2 out of 5Â by Brittys08 Bracket design is flawed
The screws for mounting the bracket constantly get stripped. The finial curves over the screw holes just enough to make it so you have to screw it in at an angle. The screws to tighten in the rods are sort of a pain to reach, too. This was my first real curtain rod purchase, and in the future I prefer to only purchase steel rods/brackets. The painted aluminum just doesn't look that nice and it scratches easily. If you don't mind the aluminum, this rod really is fine if it's your only option. I had a screw that stripped before I got it tightened enough into the wall. I was tired of fussing with it and couldn't get it out without damaging the wall. The bracket was a tad loose, but I just left it. Just use grommet curtains or buy curtain rings to allow less pressure when opening and closing the curtains.

I am quite pleased with the overall quality of these rods. They are made quite nicely, and look wonderful with my new curtains. The brackets are so pretty, it's ashame you really can't see them with the curtains up. They were a breeze to put up as well. I also purchased the matching tie backs, and they are also are made nicely and look really good. Thank you.

I purchased a few sets of these about a year ago from a different "cheaper" store and the rods were great. Originally I didn't use the "double" rod because I just hung the curtains. Recently I decided to add curtain sheers and I could no longer find what I did with the "double, inner" rod sets. All that being said brings me to my order through Kohl's for this exact same product. They don't sell the inner by itself so I had to just order the entire rods. I opened them and began installing them and they are too long, they don't adjust down like they are supposed to and all of them are different lengths. I chose not to return them though my husband did pull out the circular saw and had to jimmy-rig them down to get them to the correct length and they will work for now. If we ever have to put them on a wider window they won't work because we had to "cut off" a certain amount to get them to adjust down. Very disappointed to get such a poor quality product from Kohl's knowing that I successfully purchased this same item previously from a different store.
