by ArmyLife Very poor quality wash cloths
I received a set of these towels as a wedding gift 2 years ago. I received 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash cloths. These are used in rotation with other towel sets I have, so I would say these are used for approximately 1 week out of every 8 weeks. They are NOT heavily used. These Simply Vera hand and bath towels are thick and soft and have held up well. However, the wash cloths have developed holes in each corner since we began using them (see pictures). They have simply been used in the shower to wash our faces, and occasionally to clean our bodies (but mostly we have a loofah for our bodies). They have by no means been abused or overused, but the washcloths are absolutely falling apart!

I LOVED these towels but unfortunately after the first wash they all came out looking like they'd been bleached. I didn't use any bleach product and even after washing a second time, they still have the markings all over them. They were a beautiful steel grey color and now they look like junk towels. So disappointed.

I had purchased three sets of these towels (grey, linen and spa blue ) over the year. After washing every color pattern looked like there were bleach stains on them, or a tie-dye pattern. Problem is, I don't use bleach. Grey towels have pink spots. spa blue and linen towels have yellow spots. Good quality if you don't mind what they look like.

by Verified Reviewer I was initially in love with these towels
The overall feel and texture of these towels is wonderful! Sadly they have developed what appears to be as comparison to bleach stains on them. Both my set and my mom's set have these spots on them. Neither of us use bleach, they're washed in Purex free and clear laundry detergent. I still love the towels but sad they're no longer pretty.
