Right out of the box I picked up the first towel and held it up and looked like there was something odd in the middle....poked my thumb right through the towel. Picked up the second one and it had a pull about an inch long. If you do buy these towels make sure you hold them up with a bright light behind....the batch I received has inconsistencies and you can see right through the towels in places....I believe some people have gotten decent quality towels as there are many good reviews.....just not these.

I purchased these towels expecting quality . What I got were towels that look great but are cheaply manufactured and shed HORRIBLY !!! If you purchase these Pic a color that you truly love because you will be wearing colored fibers on EVERYTHING you launder for quite some time.

This Apt Pima cotton towels are the best for the money in my opinion. I bought Pima towels from other places, but they faded quickly. Apt Pima Towels seem to be holding up well.

I am surprised to read some of the negative comments about these towels. I just ordered a couple of new sets of Apt. 9 towels because I have found them to be thick and thirsty and have also found they have held up well over time. I have a high end vacation rental home and have used these towels for the last 3 years and have found that they have held up very well and still look great after lots of washing! I often have guests ask where I purchased these towels, because they love them. I'm sure that you can perhaps get a bad towel here and there but I've always found that Kohl's will gladly refund your money for any reason. Don't hesitate to buy these towels!
