These are nice, thick, expensive towels with the Chaps brand name. I thought they would be great. Well, at first, they're awesome. The colors are gorgeous and rich. The towels are thick and soft. BUT. After two washes, the hand towel starting coming apart at the seams. I should have read the other reviews. I have 7 items from this line and am suspicious that they will start to fray and fall apart, too.

I bought these towels for graduation gifts and I liked the band where I had the graduate's name sewn there. It looked awesome!! I liked the size of the towel overall and the quality seems good. I won't know how they wash as they were a gift. The colors were pretty close except the antique rose is kind of an orangey/peachy color. It is still pretty but not a real pink. I would not describe it as rose colored--not sure how the antique changes it? The eggplant color is beautiful--a deep burgundy/purple color. And the cranberrry is a beautiful deep/rich red color. The colors are very deep and rich looking. I would consider getting these towels for myself and am happy giving them as graduation gifts.

I have had these towels not even six months and they are already unraveling. I registered for these towels for my bridal shower and am now stuck with six of them. I wanted nice thick towels, but these have turned out to be a complete disappointment. Don't waste your money.

I got three different sizes of these towels about 5 months ago. I loved them: they are a great color, super soft, seemed well made. However, last week when I washed all of them I noticed that on every single one of them the stitching had come apart at one corner. I would have expected them to last a lot longer than 5 months without fraying! Rather disappointed, especially with the price.
