Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent!!! Couldn't be more happier! I switched to this stainless because of the teflon health issues and wished I had done this so much sooner. I grew up with the old stainless my mom used to have that stuck everytime you cooked in them. These are soooo easy to clean, handles stay cool, and no sticking! And so much healthier; I've done my research. I don't quite understand the negative reviews unless they didn't read the directions on the care before they used them. I have these over a year and they look like the day I bought them. I love to cook and have used them consistantly often. 09/28/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Steel 11-pc. Co I purchased these for myself on Oct.1, 2013. These pots and pans conduct heat extremely well. You should not cook on high as there is no need. Your food will burn if you do cook on high. The handles can be touched during cooking "unless" you are taking them from an oven. All the lids form a drippless seal, so your burners stay clean. The only minumal down side to them is you must always clean them with white vinegar to rid the cloudy appearance created inside them after cooking anything. Stainless steel cleaner does not work as well as the vinegar, so I allow the vinegar to sit inside for a few minutes and wipe dry with paper towel. Other than that. these pots are just what I wanted because I personally don't like tephlon coated pots (after time, their outside coating does not look attractive). 10/06/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not What I Expected I was looking for something that was attractive and dishwasher safe at the same time and at first glance these seemed to fit the bill. After almost a year of use these have not held up well and have not only tarnished but EVERYTHING sticks to them no matter what precautions I take (and I am experienced in the kitchen!) Even cooking on a lower heat setting does not help. I am disappointed - this is such a beautiful set and I was hoping they would last for years. I am going to purchase a hard-anodized nonstick set that is dishwasher safe instead. 10/05/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed The main reason I purchased these stainless steel pots was because I didn't like having to use plastic cooking utensils (which generally don't work as well as metal ones and also get icky after a while) with my "nonstick" cookware. MY experience with these new pans is that food sticks, they are difficult to clean, and they never look good when you're done. I read the enclosed cooking/cleaning instructions, as well as numerous online "expert" suggestions, some of which contradict each other. I have tried many of these suggestions but nothing seems to help much. Food sticks, cleaning is difficult and the pans start to look bad right away. I am not a novice in the kitchen. At sixty-six years of age, having always been a hands-on cook, I have used many different types of pots and pans over the years. I have a couple of old, small, stainless Farberware pots that still look pretty good after around forty years of use, so I was especially surprised (disappointed/frustrated) with the performance of these Cuisinart pieces. Other than the decent weight of these pots and pans, I am not a fan -- to put it mildly. 07/24/2013
