I purchased this grilling basket a few months ago....finally used it. I had huge salmon burgers in the basket (6 of them),,,,,they took up every bit of space. I used the basket since i didn't want the burgers to fall apart thru the grill grates. Initially, the basket did well.....come time to turn that's another story. Burgers were trying to fall out and eventually one did....in pieces onto the grill surface. Basket has poor design....it opens like a book instead of over....might help??? Very disappointed. don't know that i'll use it again!! sorry bobby flay!

The grill basket accommodates sufficient meat or fish for our family of four. Big eaters or larger numbers may require a second basket. The locking closure is close to the fire so unlocking takes a little care. However the handle remains cool. The basket bottom is sturdy, consisting of a rigid wire grid; after cooking, items can be removed by spatula. The basket top is less sturdy, consisting of rows of zig-zagged wires extending to either side. Because the basket can be flipped ending with the top side down, removing food with a spatula won't work as it hangs up on the zig-zags. So finish by flipping with the bottom side down. Much of the nonstick coating wore off after half a dozen uses. Not only does it become hard to clean, it rusts. I couldn't recommend the grill basket to others.

I was excited about grilling some vegetables, sadly when you turn this over, it opens up and food falls out. I adjusted, readjusted to no avail.
