Rated 5 out of 5Â by eljaytx Best skillet ever
This is the best pan ever. Absolutely love cooking in it. It does it all & cleans easy; great on the stove top & the oven. I have fried flautas, scrambled creamy eggs w/hash browns & slow baked beef short ribs; every dish was delicious cooked in THIS pan. The cast coating is perfect & the pan is easy to move around when the kitchen is in full swing. To preserve the excellent cooking surface, I am careful about metal utensils. It cleans with a wipe using a paper towel. Every home chef deserves this pan!

Even though I cook on gas, most of my family is on the glass topped electric stoves. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find a cast iron skillet that was suitable for their stoves-Until Now!!! This skillet is a great buy, and a great gift. So far, I am on my 4th, all given as gifts. Everyone loves them, and they are all so thrilled to be able to put cast iron on their cooktops. These are not as heavy as a traditional iron skillet, so won't hold the heat as long, but they conduct it well. This is a definite MUST PURCHASE!!
My only complaint- there aren't more lightweight pans to go with it!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Babeinchgo Great lightweight iron skillet
My mother used a cast iron skillet all her life. It wasn't pretty, but it did a heck of a job. I shied away from buying one because of my arthritis limitations; lifting heavy weights is a problem for me. This lightweight version is fantastic. I sesoned it again before using it for the first time, and have not used soap on it, in order not to lose the seasoning properties which make it non-stick. When the pan is cool, I wipe it out with paper towels. Then I run it under hot water while swishing it with a clean brush. Then I wipe it dry with paper toweling, and set it on the stove. The outer enamel coating is very pretty. As to cooking properties, the pan get hot fast and keeps its heat, cooking evenly. I love it.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by AMERK Nice looking exterior, interior just okay
The pan had some marks on the inside cast-iron. It did not look to be perfect first quality. But aside from the appearance of the cast iron inside it is very nice on its exterior. It is not too heavy and a great side on the stove. Although it is kind of large for my cabinet because its handle is very long so I keep it stove top. Easier to lift than I thought it would be AND a fabulous color. I like it and because I bought it at a great price, I don't mind the surface marks on the inside.
