Rated 5 out of 5 by Greatest Toaster Oven on the Market. This is without a doubt the very best toaster oven on the market today. Every other manufacturer has problems with longevity and quality control that Calphalon has engineered out of this product but I do have only one suggestion for an improvement. I think that Calphalon could make the best toaster oven in the history of toaster ovens it they would improve upon the supplied baking tray by making it out of a thicker piece of rolled aluminum with an aluminum broiling rack that fits on top of the backing tray both of which should be coated in the same enamel coating used on Calphalon's own cast iron cookware. This would prove to be the class leader of all time!   10/10/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a very good convection oven I have had a Cuisinart convection / toaster oven for about 10 years. It's finally starting to fall apart, but still works as it should. Thought it was time to get a replacement, so got this one at Kohl's. It's pretty, and looks efficient, but it doesn't "convect." My understanding of convection ovens through use of my Cuisinart is that you reduce the heat by about 25 degrees, and the food will still cook faster than the recipe calls for. This one doesn't do that. I have to have the temp at the "regular oven" temperature, and it takes LONGER to cook the food than it would in a regular oven. The food feels drier too, which isn't a good thing for meats or cookies. Pizza, on the other hand, came out a little mushy with the crust undercooked. I'll have to return this. 02/02/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great I have had this oven for 4 months now and lve it. I have cooked all kinds of meats and side dishes in this. It heats up quickly cooks just as quickly its also very quiet for a convection oven. It's just the two of us so I use it all the time for most all of our meals now I don't have to turn on the big oven to waste electricity or heat up the kitchen. It heats up leftovers well, toasts bread too and cleans up easily. I can't say enough good things about this oven. There is only one tiny negative thing and that is if I turn it off prior to the set time I put in it looks like its still on and running once I press cancel. But now that I know it does take a little time to register its ok. 07/24/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Couldn't have lived without it. We bought the oven because we were remodeling the whole first floor including our kitchen. The project was going to take about 5 -6 months. There were 4 of us and we didn't want to eat dinners out on a daily basis. I found the controls to be very confusing but once the oven was on the correct mode and temp it was great! I was surprised at how quickly it heated up and how evenly it baked! The 9 x 13 statement is not true as all my pans had side "helpers". I could not find any 9 x 13 pans without the side helpers so that was disappointing. Overall I would recommend to a friend. We have a full kitchen now but are going to keep the tiny oven to use as a spare in our downstairs bar/mini kitchen. 07/20/2013
