Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down - best, easiest way to cook your turkey Absolutely a kick butt product. I've read reviews of cooking a turkey in the cold and saying it did not cook even? Absolute rubbish! I live in NH, and it can be warm or VERY cold on Thanksgiving and I've never experienced any issue with uneven cooking. You have to learn how to use this properly. Season the interior before every cooking, use the mesh screen only the final 20 mins and invest in a wireless thermometer (so you can stay inside on cold mornings). This thing is flawless and about the best outdoor cooking device I have ever used. Buy and use with confidence, your guest will be happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big easy is so easy ! When I found out about the Big Easy, I about flipped. A oil less deep frying, that was my biggest compliant was the messy oil. So, I used my sister and brother-in-law as my guinea pigs and bought them one for Christmas and we used it right then. My brother-law is a hunter and had plenty of game on hand. We cooked up some pork rump or butt, I forget the cut. We seasoned them babies up with some Cajun and those were some of best pork oh man. I had to go get myself a Big Easy, been cooking up chickens, ribs, hens, duck everything is awesome. Go get yourself a Big Easy and no more oil to clean or mess with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some Good Cook'n I bought the Big Easy infrared turkey fryer for Thanksgiving 2013. I did a comparison with two turkeys, one with the oil fryer and one infrared. Results were almost identical except without all the oil saturating the turkey. I ended up buying all the accessories to cook other meats. Kabobs, whole chickens, chicken drum sticks (salt and pepper only), spare ribs, baby back ribs, corned beef, pork roast, pork loins (boneless), and beef roast. Results are excellent with a crispy outside and juicy inside. Only thing I cook on the gas or charcoal grill now are steaks. Definitely got my moneys worth on this grill. Love it and I am still experimenting. Cook and Enjoy!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Easy - Perfectly Named Just purchased for Canadian Thanksgiving. Seasoned the unit as per instructions. I used canola oil, 2 sessions about 25 minutes each and I had a beautiful bronze cooking surface. Rubbed a 13 pound Turkey with olive oil, then seasoned with smoked paprika and salt. Pre-heat the unit for 10 minutes, dropped in the Turkey and cooked for 2 hours until meat thermometer read 170 degrees in both breasts. AWESOME, Brown crispy skin, juicy meat with fabulous taste! See for yourself, this really is EASY! Oh and I coated the basket with canola oil using a paper towel, bird didn't stick, clean up easy. Last thing, drippings made a fantastic gravy.
