Rated 4 out of 5 by Mr A great little appliance, especially in a cramped kitchen. The blades make short work of food in need of "downsizing." Caveats: I filled the bowl with cooked, cut up chicken to make chicken salad, and discovered I was pureeing food at the bottom without touching the food at the top. My brilliant, empirical conclusion? Never fill the thing's not going to circulate the food like a bigger mixer. Another demerit came with the disassembly of the bowl and lid, either to remove food or for cleaning: if your hands are the least bit slippery from food preparation, you won't get anything to turn. In my overall estimation, it's well-designed and made, and a very handy tool to have in the kitchen. 12/13/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful when working with dried herbs from the garden, versatile too! I bought this chopper when drying the rest of my garden herbs To use in cooking. After drying, I used the chopper for dried oregano, parsley, basil, etc. it did a great job, chopping, but not "mushing" them. Love it for the many smaller jobs, especially for items chopped for soups, and making salads from leftover ham, turkey, etc. blends all the items beautifully, and cuts the need to use my larger food processor. The purée feature is great also. We have an elderly member of our household who benefits from this. It does help her to manage eating with less difficulty. 12/08/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Old Chopper so much better My old chopper (3cup) broke and I was so sorry to learn that you did not make it any longer - I contacted customer service and they were very nice and tried to help in every way - We were able to work something out and I was sent the new model at a discounted price - I wish I had not ordered as it is no where near as good as the old one - At my age at times it is difficult to turn things and I found this one hard to turn and not easy to handle as it has no HANDLE - You had a great product and you need to go back to it - Sorry Kitchen Aid - Hope my counter top mixer does not go bad as I would not want to replace it - 10/18/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Made my task easier. I bought this originally to "grind" nuts to make nut roll for Christmas. It did a great job at chopping the nuts to the right consistency. I am looking forward to using it on other items in the future. It also matches my other KitchenAid products. 12/17/2014
