Rated 2 out of 5Â by disappointedinmilwaukee Comfortable but poor quality soles
The shoes are comfortable and have nice, casual look. However, I purchased them in February of 2012 and by September of 2012 the soles were worn to the point of letting water seep into the bottom of the shoe whenever I walk on wet pavement. Since I've never had a shoe last for so short of period, I'm rating the quality on these shoes as poor. I have a desk job so don't put a lot of wear and tear on my work shoes. I have running shoes for running and hiking/work boots for outdoors, so I can only assume the manufacturer used poor quality rubber in the soles of these shoes. This was my first experience with Nunn Bush and will likely be my last.

I've worn these shoes about every third day for over a year. The uppers, insoles, and laces are decently made. The color lightened up from brown to light tan in 8 months. Oil helps get the color back.
The main issue is the aggressive offroad tread wears down fast if you walk on pavement with these instead of dirt. The soles don't just become smooth, the individual tread pieces will separate and leave holes into the interior sole for water and dirt.
I've gotten a good amount of compliments on them, but maybe just buy them as dressed up hiking shoes not business casual.
