The wood floor looks beautiful and hasn't looked that good or shiny since the day it was installed. Did a good job on tile and laminate too. I feel good knowing that my floors are the cleanest they can be and happy to eliminate chemicals, especially for the safety of my pets. My only complaint is the ease of pouring water into the tank....it's awkward to manipulate the mop and fill the water tank without spilling. That can definitely be improved.

I bought this about a year and a half ago. I did not use it every time I mopped because I felt like it did not get the floor really clean if there was a spill or stains on the floor. You can't really scrub the floor with this. I probably used it about 1 or 2 times per month. I had it about 7-8 months before it stopped working. Now it does not get warm at all and water just leaks out of it when I prime the pump. So, it was a lot of money to spend on something that only worked about 10-12 times. I must admit I have not contacted customer service about repairing it. I won't spend a penny more on this product and would never buy another one.

This steam mop is amazing ( I have never had one before.) I use to have a traditional mop and bucket, then bought a refillable mop with washable pad, and thought that worked and cleaned great. I guess it did a decent job.
Then I bought this steam mop and it is amazing, I mopped with it almost immediately from being delivered. On an area that I HAD JUST USED the refillable mop on the day before. My floors looked clean, but the shark mop pad came up dirty dirty. My hardwood floors sparkled and had a noticeable difference in feel when walking on them after mopping. Took maybe 10 minutes to mop everything and the floors were dry in seconds.

I have owned 1 Shark pocket mop for at least 10 years, & a newer 1 less than a year. I have always used a pur filter on my kitchen sink & use filtered water in my shark.
As far as the microfiber pads I have found could be harder to use. I prefer the regular pads for mopping & I use the microfiber for sticky spills.
