Rated 3 out of 5 by Broken paring knife I purchased this knife set a few years ago. Within the first few months one of the knives broke while using it. The kind people from The Food Network contacted me after I left a review and sent me a replacement. Well, here I am writing another review because this time the pairing knife did the same thing while I was cutting up cauliflower. It just snapped in two. I handwash the knives 99% of the time, so I can't say its from improper handling of the product. I am hoping this review gets the attention of someone who can contact me about getting another replacement pairing knife. I took a photo of the knife, but cannot find a way to add it to my review. 12/20/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't Waste Your Money! I am on my second set of these knives in a little over a year, the first set one of the steak knives tips broke off and the "stainless" steel was all tarnished. I hand wash my dishes and I do not have hard water, nor have I had any issues of any other stainless steel cutlery of mine becoming discolored. The second set that I am using right now will also be getting returned, it is so tarnished I am embarrassed to use it with company! Kohls was great as far as the customer service aspect goes, but I am extremely disappointed in these knives!!! 01/28/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Stainless steel, but a knife still broke! I have had these knives for two years, and have loved using them, that is until one of the chopping knives broke in two when my husband was cutting cheese! We had always taken care with our knives, hand washing them and storing them back in their block. It has to be some kind of fault in the steel. 03/01/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful and functional I am now a Food Network junkie. I purchased the stainless steel pot and pan set in 2011 because it looked so cool and since then I have been collecting different pieces for my kitchen little by little. The knife set was my Christmas gift to myself this past year. I have black appliances in my kitchen so it matches perfectly. All of the cutlery is one solid piece and sharp. They slice beautifully and effortlessly. I cook from scratch so I desperately needed a decent quality set of knives. The only caution I will recommend is to hand wash them because those new dishwasher packets will ruin them eventually. That is no big deal though, they are worth preserving. 02/02/2013
