This electric tea pot is very fast, safe with the auto turn-off when water is boiling, and no cords when pouring your hot water into a cup.
I received my first Capresso H2O Plus Water Kettle as a gift 10 years ago. I was elated when I found this Capresso at Kohls on-line, especially since I had Kohls cash to use.

This summer I was making Sun Tea in a large clear jug. Now that it is Fall , that is not easy to do. I like glass better than a plastic container or metal tea kettle. This Water Kettle is the best. It gets the water to peak boiling point then turns itself off. This boiling water makes the best tea to drink hot or cold. This product boils water very fast and so hot it really brings out the best of a tea bag brew. The design of the product is so nice you could boil water for guest right on a table or counter. It is not bulky or heavy to pick up. The heating coil stand is small and light weight and fits the glass kettle very nicely. The very hot boiling water would be great to make instant coffee or oatmeal , etc. I'm really enjoying this product.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on something that just boils water, but after receiving a gift card for Christmas, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Capresso H2O, Boy am I glad I did!! It boils the water in about 3 minutes, has a genius warming element that is separate from the carafe, and doesn't have an annoying whistle that could end up waking my husband while he tries to sleep during the day after a 12 hour night shift. Perfect!!
I definitely recommend the Capresso to anyone looking to heat water for their tea. Money well spent!!

I like having a glass kettle. I replaced a stainless steel which was difficult to fill adequately, resulting in a lot of wasted water. The old one also suffered from built up lime scale because it wasn't noticed until it was hard to remove. This kettle has lines on the outside, and since I only make one or two cups of tea at a time, I can easily fill to the minimum line and have little or no water to throw away (important when your municipal water bill is scheduled to double). I did need to go over the light blue line with a permanent marker to make it easier to see. I can't fill the kettle from my refrigerator water dispenser due to its shape, so I have to add water from a cup. Rinse it in lime remover weekly . Boils water very quickly.
