I love Levis jeans, they are the only brand I wear. But these have a terribly rough stitching inside the waistline. I like to wear my shirt over my jeans, but even with a shirt tucked in the stitching rubs me. There are two rows on the bottom, and one on the top, and if you take your finger and run it along you can feel how hard the stitching is and it really sticks out. I bought these in the same size I always wear, but when I take these off my skin looks terrible. I have other pairs of levis that do not have this issue. I love wearing jeans for comfort, but these are the opposite of that. And it's not that they are too tight. I can actually stick a fist between me and the jeans in the front when I'm standing. The sides especially rub. I'm really sad. I had hoped that washing them a few times would soften it up, but it hasn't. I'm glad I didn't open the other pair yet, they are going back!

Not sure if this is really Levi's. Where more of the emblems on the jeans I bought in the store (same exact type, number, etc) had the name, these don't. There is one place it says Levi's, but the rest have the trademark shape without the name. I'm thinking these aren't really. Made in China.
They don't fit quite as well as the ones I bought in the store.
The shipping made them pretty expense. Wish they could have shipped to store and save me the shipping.

I have a pair of 512's that fit me perfectly so I was hoping for another pair but these are not the same. They are fitted in the leg and too snug in the knee area - since I have an arthritic knee that swells, these won't work for me. I ordered a pair in dark blue and in black and I will say that the black were tighter through the tummy - more true to size - and yet a little looser on the knee. Very strange. So, I think they are well made and I do like the style - it just doesn't work on me. I would recommend these to a friend depending on her body type. I am 130 lbs. and 5'3" and the size 4 in a short would have been perfect if the knee was just a little more relaxed.

Bought my first Perfectly Slimming 512 bootcut almost 5 years ago and I'm still wearing them. I literally wore them out but couldn't bring myself to make them my 'gardening' jeans until I could find a new pair. I just got my new ones and I'm blown away at how consistent the sizing has been over the last 5 years. Same great fit!!! I'm in love with these jeans!!
That little bit of lycra stretch through the waist & tummy make these the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. Stylish and versatile....I wear them with booties, flats, work boots, flip-flops, and heels. They always look good.
