Pretty tasty hot drink when I don't want coffee or tea. Does it taste like fresh cider hand plucked from an apple tree in Vermont? Of course not! Not sure what some reviewers are expecting from a Kcup but it is better than instant. I have bought dozens of boxes of this product and every one has tasted great. Many have complained about it containing Stevia, but that is not listed as one of the ingredients listed in the nutritional values on this site or on any of the boxes I currently have on hand. If you open the cup up after brewing you can see the actual dried apples, etc. The cup will NOT be empty as this is not an instant product.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by longer The only reason for this rating is the way it was sent to me in packaging that was not correct and the product came wit the box crushed open and all the product scattered through out the packaging so I really did not get a chance to use it.

When my wife and I first heard about these, we were both excited and couldn't wait to get some. After quite a few misses, as they were constantly sold out, we finally got a box this week. We were both left feeling underwhelmed, however. The aroma and color is what one would expect from a cider beverage, but the flavor is decidedly weak, and there is a flaw in the k-cup design on this one: much of the cider mix is left in the cup. As an experiment I opened one after brewing and scooped the remaining contents into the cup, stirred it, and it made a world of difference. So while I would recommend it, a couple of small caveats accompany that recommendation. YMMV.

I love hot cider, so I thought I would give this a try for the sake of convenience. With the first cup I brewed it on the 10oz setting & it was extremely watered down & tasteless. I ended up dumping that out it was so bad. Even brewing it on the smallest 6oz size it is still very weak flavored, but it will suffice until I run out of the cider k-cups. I will not buy this one ever again. If you don't mind weak flavored cider, then this might work for you. My best recommendation is to brew it on the smallest cup setting for your brewer. They should have a disclaimer on the box recommending that it be brewed on that setting.
