These are built very well and are a very good upgrade to walking around with regular socks. They prevent light amounts of water on the ground from getting in, where regular socks would fail and need to be changed and they fit nice as well. The ankle part can be folded down like a beanie hat to create more of an ankle sock look, which is nice when you're wearing shorts or something. All in all, they are great. One of mine did come with an odd defect in the stitching, the outside flaps out and there's nothing you can do to stop it. The defect looks like something you would see on outlet store items. But its not too terrible, I still wear them anyway. I really like these better than house shoes which stretch and become useless after a certain period of time.

Bought these slippers because of the reviews. My husband's 1st reaction was what in the world are these!? My husband is very picky on comfort and likes the traditional slipper look. I told him the reviews said they were comfortable and warm so just try them. He didn't want to hurt my feelings so he put them on. He did and man was he impressed! He wears them all the time and tells me how good they feel (he has a bad ankle so comfort means a lot). Now the rest of the family wants a pair too! Yes! Get these slippers for comfort.

Size was not true, too small.

This pair of slippers is interesting, in a good way. There is no obvious construction to the slipper, so really it behaves more like a sock with a durable sole on the bottom. I took the advice of previous commenters that the slipper runs small, and I ordered a 2XL (shoe size 13-14) when in reality I wear an 11.5 or 12. I'm sure that the normal XL would have suited me fine, in the end, but the larger size is not a problem. They are comfortable around the house and very warm.
