First the positives-the seal doesn't leak and the cup sits flat. Apparent issues a few years ago seem to be resolved. Now the bad-cup is stainless steel. Which means mine looks filthy all the time due to finger prints. Also, it doesn't hold heat. Which is the MAIN reason I use it. Granted I do not expect my coffee to be steaming hot an hour after it is poured into the cup (I anyways put the lid on immediately), but I do expect it to be warm and not cold like it is. I've tried pouring boiling water into the cup first to heat up the thermal properties as suggested and it doesn't help.

The rim of the vessel is too thin and allows liquids to pass the rubber seal in the lid. I took this mug filled with Starbucks coffe to a Bridge tournament last weekend and ended up with coffee all down my NorthFace vest!! I was not a happy camper!

The mug does not sit flat and wobbles. And although the mug body itself is great, the lid is also very difficult from which to drink. You can easily burn your mouth sipping from this mug. If I can find my packing slip I'm going to return it.

I thought I screwed the lid in tight but next thing I knew coffee was rolling down my jacket. I have since tested it 4 or 5 times, each time seating the lid and gasket properly and each time it leaks. I am returning it.
