I did like the spatula because it is hard enough to flip larger amount of food and it doesn't bend. The problem is that its heat resistant capability is too low. It only tolerate up to 350F, which is only the start point of hot oil. If you want to do stir fry, this might not be a good choice. Or you don't wait for the oil to be hot enough. I noticed some sort of loss of the silicone material at the top where usually touches the hot oil first. But it doesn't look like that it is due to the melting of the material though. However, I am still worried. It might also due to the contact with some harder food? I guess it is more fragile when the temperature is high. I try to avoid the direct contact with hot oil now. It is still a good size and convenient to use. If the hear resistant level could higher, it would be a perfect turner!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by KitchenMouse An excellent spatula
I had been using only stainless steel and had tossed the old nonstick pans and "who knows what chemicals are in it" plastic utensils. This spatula works perfectly in my new safe nonstick pan. Nothing sticks to the spatula. It has a bit of weight in the front and I would have liked yellow to go with my Food Network pastry brush. But other than it being red I know I'm not stirring chemicals into my families' meals. It's very attractive, the handle which is a brushed stainless steel is easy to clean also. Can't wait for more sizes.

I purchased this spatula to replace a spatula that was broken. While hand washing this spatula, the handle came apart from the Silicone section. I used it twice. Very disappointed in the quality.

I haven't used it yet, but it was an adventure just getting the adhesive tag off it. You'd think they'd make it easier.
