Rated 3 out of 5 by Elegant But Don't Balance Well On Side of Plates. Since steak knives are for cutting steak and other meats at the table, it's reasonable to expect the knife to rest across the edge of a plate during your meal. These do not. They are lighter on the cutting end than handle, making them nearly impossible to (politely) place them aside during the meal. They literally fall onto the table, regardless the plate size or height. They are excellent for cutting meat though, so if you're OK with propping them by the blade on the side, you couldn't ask for a better steak knife. Another small drawback is they aren't recommended for the dishwasher. Based on the quality I'd say they'll last forever but as before, they're not balanced like most cutlery. 11/29/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Chicago cutlery I purchased a set of Insignia steak knife set. One of the steak knife disappeared. So searching online and searching I thought I found the matching one. Only to be Very disappointed in the photo they showed online , the knife i needed was the one without teeth. It is smooth. Looking at the photo it looked like these had NO teeth.. I would advise Kohls website to add that these are not the same knifes that come with the Block set.. I am saddened that i can not find a match. 02/04/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Replacement products I love my Chicago Cutlery. My Husband bought the set for me for Christmas a few years ago and I was so happy. Unfortunately, this is the same Husband that accidentally throws out the steak knives with the paper plates. I ordered replacement knives and they arrived in a timely manner, but the they were serrated knives - not the replacement for the original. Had to buy a set of 4 to replace 2. They serve the purpose but I will go to a retailer next time, 11/18/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by The FIRST time I used my Cuisinart food processor, the motor started smoking and then came to a stop. I was mixing cake and frosting for cake pops! This should have been an easy go for it. I'm going to assume that there was something wrong with this particular processor and try it again. However, this was a very disappointing experience. 06/20/2012
