The prong on the buckle is made of plastic. Yep, plastic. My son broke it after two months. Can't even begin to say how disappointed I was to see Dockers chose to make their belt with such poor materials. Well, they saved a buck and cured me of ever buying another Dockers belt again. Buyer beware.

This lasted less than 6 months. I don't even wear it every day. Maybe 3 or 4 times a week. The layer came apart just yesterday. I expected better from Dockers brand. Oddly enough, my black belt from a cheaper off brand has held up just fine.

Belt is leather. Buckle is metal. The Buckle prong, in the center of the buckle and that inserts into the belt hole is plastic. Worn 6 or 7 times over three weeks and the prong snap off.

It looks nice when new, but the belt holes wear out rather quickly. I think the quality of the belt is poor. I have had two that have had the same deterioration.
