My daughter wears a size 8 shoe, and I purchased the small slippers because the size range is 6-9. They were too small to even get on her foot.
We are just starting out dance lessons in September and I wanted her to get the feel of the slippers at home. It doesn't even pay to spend the money to ship them back, and if I buy the next size, I will have to pay shipping again.
It's just frustrating.

The product itself is just fine, but it should not be marketed as a dancewear item. There is almost always one little girl in a class who has these instead of real ballet slippers, and they stand out, especially on stage. They make their feet look bulky with all the padding, and the toes on the slippers curl up, showing the sole - which looks like a bedroom slipper, not a dance shoe!

I ordered a medium (10-13) for my almost 4 year old for dress up. She is a size 8 toddler shoe. These fit okay with a little bit of room to grow.
I would recommend if your child is toward the larger end of the size range, go up in size. She would probably have fit the small but outgrown them quickly.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by TigerlilyJ These shoes are extremely cute and seemed to be pretty well made, however, they run EXTREMELY SMALL! I ordered a medium for my four year old and I'll be surprised if she'll be able to wear them for more than a month or so.
