Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Giddy-up time! Christmas present for my 2.5 y/o, who is a very tall for his age. He loves it! It has not tipped over, he loves the galloping and neighing sounds. Great quality in the wood base and the horse itself. I suspect he will be able to use it until he's 4, the recommended age limit. The cost is well worth it! Great quality, durable, perfect for 2-4 y/o. When assembling, it was difficult getting the screws to "catch" and line up into the legs of the horse in order to screw them in. Definitely needed someone to stretch out the horse's legs to allign it right. It was well worth the struggle though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from kids LOVE it! This rocking horse is made so well-typical melissa and doug quality! it's soft but super durable. the wood is beautiful and easy to clean. when you press the ear, the horse makes galloping sounds, then neighs. the sounds are realistic, cute and not annoying (in taste or volume). This was a gift but I would definitely buy it, great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this to anyone I bought this rocking horse for my grandson when he was almost 2. He is now 6 and his new brother is 18 months and already riding with Glee !! It has held up so well, you can't tell that it was used. I am now getting ready to buy another one for my newest almost 2 yr old grandson. Wonderful product!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing! I bought this rocking horse for my 2-year-old granddaughter for Christmas and one of the ears has already fallen off! The ear that fell off is the ear that holds the wiring for the galloping and neighing sounds. You're supposed to squeeze the ear for the sounds to happen. Well - that's all we did - and the ear came off. Other than that, my granddaughter liked the horse and enjoyed rocking on it. I bought the toy because of the brand name - Melissa and Doug. My research showed that the company makes good products. But not in this instance. Also the horse needs to be assembled onto the base, which is definitely not easy to do.
