Same comment as another reviewer - construction is very poor. The images are stickers that were only partially adhered to the blocks. Where the stickers didn't adhere they created wrinkles/bubbles that catch on the edges of the base. Other than the construction, the concept is good and the arrangement of the paired images are good.

i like the idea of this toy and my daughter loves to play with it. but whoever assembled the toy did NOT do a very good job. 1 sticker basically fell off on its own (only had them since Christmas). Almost every single sticker has bubbles/buckles and they are all beginning to lose their adhesion to the block. i would suggest when manufacturing these to have the whole box clear coated/sealed.

I thought I was going to have to go out and buy a special screwdriver just to open up the battery compartment because the screw is super small, and we only own a standard sized phillips tip. It ended up, however, that I was able to use a tweezers. Some of the animal sounds are a little unrealistic to me, but overall it is a good toy. Very well made and easily portable. I think a nice addition would be an on/off switch.

My one year old son got these blocks for Christmas. They are a little advaced for him (he doesn't quite get the whole matching thing yet). He likes to stack up the blocks and claps and squeals when I match them to make the sounds. Overall a nice gift probably best suited for slightly older toddlers
