Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommend this iron I love the sleek design of this product and the heavier weight actually gives it more stability than other irons I have used that have been prone tip over and leak water everywhere. I didn't think I would like the bottom as it is not teflon coated, however, if used at the proper heat setting, it is actually quite smooth and glides easily over the fabric. The iron heats quickly and is ready with steam to use in less than one minute. I think it's a great value as well compared to other similar products. 09/19/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rowenta Iron - would buy again in a heartbeat! The iron looks fantastic. It is heavy and not cheaply made. The iron plate is thick and has many holes for steam. The steam feature is on of the best options on it! Steams quicker and better than any iron I have ever owned. Presses creases in pants/shorts precise and perfectly! Has all kinds of settingstuff for just about any material as well as steam settings. Holds quite a bitime of water so you are not constantly filling and it does not leak water! I am amazed at how wonderful this iron is. The only thing I wished the iron had was a cord keeper or a way to wrap the cord. But, I can get past that with how great this works to iron and steam our clothes! It's super easy to use, directions are easy to follow. 09/21/2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by INITIAL quality the best; but they never last long For the one to three years that this iron works, it is the best iron on the market, the problem is Rowenta irons never last more than 1 - 3 years ... My fourth Rowenta in 9 years (this model) just broke, in the way that they normally do, the Auto-shut off feature causes them to constantly shut off and never get hot, or they just wont turn on and at all. This particular model lasted the longest, 3 years, and it was a refurbished one that I purchased. If this brand were priced at about 75% less than it is, the short lifespan would be acceptable. But as this brand comes at a premium price, I would expect it to last 15 or 20 years, the way that products used to last. However, they are INITIALLY, the absolute best iron I have ever used. INITIALLY several times better than everything else on the market. But be prepared to get addicted to the high performance ... that's why I have purchased 4 even after the first 2 only lasted a year. 09/27/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great until it starts leaking This iron is fantastic in the beginning, but around the 1 year mark it starts leaking where the power cord enters the iron. I have had this happen to me on this specific model three different times now. After some time the iron will just start leaking and I don't mean dribbling. I could have the iron sitting on the ironing board, walk out of the room and come back to a big puddle on the floor because it empty all the water in the iron. If I wasn't getting these replaced for free I would've moved on a long time ago. If Rowenta can fix the leaking issues this iron would be 5 stars all the way. 06/20/2014
