Rated 5 out of 5 by Try it for yourself! Its worth it! I read alot of reviews before purchasing and was skeptical. I decided to to give it a try and am glad I did. I have used it 2-3 times so far. I have had absolutely NO issue with cleanup. Yes, you have to be mindful of how much stuff you pack in.. however if the lid does not full close, that is fine. If you hold it in place for about 10 seconds, it will suck down and hold until the quesadilla is done. I love the small cutout at the front with the drip bowl as that aids in easy cleenup. Cooks quick and easy and the lights have been working flawless at this point. If it continues like this I made a great purchase and got for a great price. 04/19/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Its a good product We use this a lot and love it, but I was disappointed in its size. My mother in law purchased one thru another site and her's is a pretty good size. I had been using it for a while at my house and when I saw this one, I thought I'll just buy my own and give her's back to her. When I got it, I found it was much smaller in size to hers. I'd say hers will take a burrito sized tortilla and mine will fit a fajita size tortilla. But I think I have used both the bigger and smaller tortillas. Because of the small size, its really hard to handle and you have to be careful opening and closing to not let it tip over. I had no problems w/my MIL product tipping over, but this smaller one sure will. Other than that, I love using it. 09/14/2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by black and decker quesadilla maker review the machine takes regular sized tortillas, nothing hangs over the edge. it heats up quickly and cleans easily with paper towels. sometimes the green light (ready) doesn't come on after the first quesadilla, and sometimes both the lights stay on. not a big deal, as you can pretty much judge when the food is done. Not even baking for each quesadilla. you can only put a VERY LITTLE filling or you can't close and lock the top down for even cooking. if you put more than a scant amount of filling you have to use quite a bit of pressure with an oven-mitted hand to lock the top on during cooking. all in all, for the low price and ease of use, i would still recommend it. 04/12/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome kitchen gadget A co-worker brought one of these to a potluck and made quesadillas on the fly. The quesadilla was unbelievable and it was so easy. Tortilla, cheese, toppings, 2nd tortilla, hold closed, tada! It makes quesadillas much better than I could make without it and much, much faster. The only things keeping it from a 5 star: 1. It's not as easy to clean as it could be. Nothing seems to be removable so you have to wipe it down. It's easiest to do this right after use while still warm. 2. For almost any amount of toppings beyond cheese, you have to hold the thing closed manually through most of the cooking cycle (after a couple minutes, it cooks down enough that you can latch it closed). 11/15/2012
